Position Summary
The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all
production activities related to steel bridge fabrication, structural steel manufacturing, welding,
assembly, dispatch. The role requires ensuring production targets are achieved while
maintaining quality, safety, cost efficiency, and delivery commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
 Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in line with project
requirements.
 Monitor fabrication activities including cutting, bending, fit-up, welding, assembly,
blasting, painting, and final dispatch.
 Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and shop-floor
resources.
 Coordinate with Project, Design, Quality, Procurement, and Stores teams for smooth
production flow.
 Ensure timely completion of fabrication milestones and customer delivery schedules.
 Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, welding procedures, and
quality standards.
Safety & Compliance
 Ensure strict compliance with EHS policies and safe work practices.
 Conduct regular safety reviews and toolbox talks.
 Promote a zero-accident culture across the shop floor.
Qualification
 B. Tech Mechanical / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
 Around 10 years of experience in heavy fabrication, structural steel fabrication, bridge
fabrication.
