Asst. Manager – Maintenance

 Breakdown Analysis: Lead major breakdowns & implement permanent corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate reoccurrence.
 Preventive Maintenance (PM) Planning: Develop and monitor the Annual Maintenance Calendar.
 Total Productive Maintenance (TPM): Drive the implementation of TPM pillars, specifically Autonomous Maintenance (Jishu Hozen) and Planned Maintenance, to achieve Zero Breakdowns and Zero Accidents.
 Supervise the repair and upkeep of diverse machinery, ensuring both mechanical integrity (gears, bearings, hydraulics) and electrical stability (switchgears, motors, control panels).
 To monitor and control all the maintenance processes related to machines and Utilities to ensure department Quality Objectives are achieved as per Target mentioned.
 To plan better utilization of maintenance staff and workmen with proper planning of work allocations. Identify skill gaps and conduct technical training sessions to upskill the workforce.
 Manage and troubleshoot industrial automation systems, including PLCs & HMIs.
 Ensure the seamless operation of plant utilities, including air compressors, chillers, boilers, and water treatment plants.
 Ensure the department is always audit-ready. Maintain documentation for Quality (9001), Environmental (14001), and Occupational Health & Safety (45001) management systems.
 Prepare and present monthly MIS reports focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and maintenance cost vs. budget. To maintain the integrity of QMS in case of any changes.
 Supervise on-site project work, ensuring contractors adhere to plant safety and quality standards.
 Work closely with the Stores department to maintain critical spare parts inventory while optimizing working capital through effective consumption tracking.
 To report to Manager Maintenance and Sr. Manager -Daily Progress, Work list, Pending work list, Action Plan, Any shortfall or requirements, timelines and status.
 Oversee civil works and structural modifications required for new equipment foundations or department expansions and see they are completed in time.
 Lead industrial projects including machinery installation, commissioning, and plant layout modifications. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
 Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new technology acquisitions or equipment upgrades
