Job Summary:

The Warehouse In-Charge for Flexible Packaging is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse activities. This role involves overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of packaging materials while maintaining compliance with industry standards and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving activities.
• Implement and uphold safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
• Coordinate with production and procurement teams to align inventory levels with manufacturing needs and demand forecasts.
• Evaluate warehouse layout and processes, recommending improvements to enhance throughput and reduce costs.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices in inventory control and effective use of warehouse management systems.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and prepare reports to identify discrepancies and improve accuracy.
• Assist in the implementation of lean methodologies to streamline operations and reduce waste in the packaging process.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within the flexible packaging industry.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset for inventory accuracy.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective coordination with all departments.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred.
