Position: Assistant Manager - Database
Location: IIT Kanpur Development Foundation (IITK DF)
Kanpur Reporting to: Vice President- Operations

Responsibilities and Expectations
1.Alumni Data Management: Clean, transform, and analyse data from multiple sources to enrich and maintain alumni records.
2.Database Oversight: Ensure the alumni database is consistently updated, integrated, and optimised with the latest tools and enhancements.
3.LinkedIn Tracking: Regularly update alumni professional and demographic data using LinkedIn and other platforms.
4.Campaign Execution: Lead data update initiatives through email, WhatsApp, and other engagement channels.
5.Data Segmentation: Create and manage data sets and segments tailored to organisational needs and cross-functional data requirements.
6.Insights & Reporting: Translate complex data into clear reports and actionable insights.
7.CRM Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with Zoho CRM/ Salesforce or similar CRM is an advantage.
 

Desired Profile
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field. Master’s
degree preferred.
•Experience: 3–4 years in database management with experience in executing complex data projects.
•Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for data visualization.
•Soft Skills:
▪Awareness about data protection, combined with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
▪Team-oriented, adaptable, and energised by start-up culture.
•Certifications (Preferred): Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent credentials.
