Position Details

Location: Thane

Experience: 10 - 15 Years

Qualification: Any bachelor’s degree or Equivalent education, any technical certification in Database domain will be added advantage

Position Summary

We are looking for a suitable candidate who would run the IT Infrastructure projects, enabling the Business deliveries in the region. You will communicate with various IT teams in the APAC region, vendors and stakeholders (both internal and external) to ensure project deliveries are made.

Strong technology focus is essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. If you are also an excellent communicator with rich experience in the infrastructure domains, we’d like to meet you.

Skills & Qualifications

Excellent knowledge about all aspects of information technology specifically with complex infrastructure environments
Proven experience across Infrastructure domains of Networking, IT Security, Systems and Storage. This is not a technical hands-on role, however, previous hands-on experience on at least one of the infrastructure towers is essential.
Fair understanding of budgets. Be in control of Schedule, Scope, Budget, Quality and Benefits always in the life cycle of the project
Ability to conduct technological analyses
Excellent communication skills
Should possess good leadership and organizational capabilities
Must have problem-solving aptitude
Understanding customer requirements and having a customer centric approach
Bachelors in related field and at least 10-11 years of experience in the IT Infrastructure arena with at least 7-8 years of hands-on experience will be beneficial.

Roles & Responsibilities

Supervising IT staff, consultants, vendors and suppliers.
Monitor and publish KPIs to assess project performance.
Functionally reports into Head Infrastructure in the region.
Ensures highest level of IT Security compliance in project planning and execution.
Conduct periodic project reviews with the stakeholders.
Work closely with Procurement and Finance as required to ensure the project procurement is effective.
Identify areas of improvement in the project lifecycle and work upon those.
Preparing cost estimates of IT infrastructure projects.
Assessing the requirements of the project and recommending suitable IT components.
Analyze different options and recommend the most suitable for the project which is economically feasible.
Making sure that the infrastructure projects are completed within the given time frame.
