Chartered Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience in audit to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive audits to assess financial statements, identifying discrepancies and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present audit reports, summarizing findings and providing actionable recommendations to management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to financial policies and regulations.
Analyze financial data and trends to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and regulations to enhance compliance and efficiency.
Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure alignment with local regulations.
Mentor junior account staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements:

Valid Chartered Accountant certification with a focus on audit and financial management.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in statutory audit and financial reporting.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration.
Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial activities.
Capable of working independently and managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) is highly desirable.
Proven track record in enhancing audit processes through innovative solutions.
Additional certifications such as CPA or CMA will be an advantage.
Experience in industry-specific auditing (e.g., manufacturing, finance, healthcare) is a plus.
