Role Objective:
The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic and operational HR partner for the Data Centre business, managing the complete employee lifecycle for a workforce of 400–500 employees, ensuring effective people management, compliance, talent continuity, and alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Lifecycle Management (400–500 Employees):
- End-to-end ownership of the employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit
- Workforce planning in alignment with business and project requirements
- Handling confirmations, transfers, promotions, role changes, and separations
- Ensuring seamless exit management including F&F settlements, documentation, and compliance
Induction & Onboarding:
- Drive structured joining and induction programs for new hires
- Ensure smooth onboarding experience and early employee engagement
- Coordinate documentation, system access, and policy orientation
Compensation & Payroll Coordination:
- Manage salary processing in coordination with payroll teams/vendors
- Ensure accuracy in payroll inputs, attendance, leave, incentives, and deductions
- Address payroll-related employee queries and ensure statutory compliance
Succession Planning & Talent Management:
- Support leadership in succession planning and critical role mapping
- Identify high-potential talent and support career development initiatives
- Enable internal mobility and leadership pipeline development
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievances
- Promote a positive work culture and high employee engagement
- Support performance management processes and feedback cycles
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, labor laws, and statutory requirements
- Maintain accurate HR data, MIS reports, and dashboards
- Support audits, internal reviews, and compliance reporting
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong experience in HRBP / Generalist HR roles
- Proven capability of managing 400–500 employees independently
- Sound knowledge of employee lifecycle management & succession planning
- Hands-on exposure to payroll coordination and HR operations
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work closely with senior leadership and business teams
Preferred Experience & Background:
- Experience in Data Centres, EPC, Infrastructure, Power, or Engineering sectors preferred
- Minimum 7–12 years of HR experience, with significant HRBP exposure
- Graduate / Postgraduate in HR or relevant specialization
Working Days:
- Monday to Friday
- 2nd & 4th Saturday – Off
- 1st, 3rd & 5th Saturday – Work From Home (Half Day)
