Job Role: Quality Expert – IS.U

Role Overview
The Quality Expert at IS.U will be responsible for ensuring that every garment meets the brand’s quality, fit, and finishing standards before reaching customers. This role requires strong coordination with factories, deep understanding of garment construction, and the authority to accept or reject products based on defined quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities
    •    Coordinate closely with factories and vendors on production timelines and shipment readiness
    •    Review and manage grading, measurements, and garment specifications across sizes
    •    Conduct pre-production, in-line, and final quality checks on garments
    •    Ensure consistency in fit, fabric quality, stitching, trims, prints, and finishing
    •    Apply clear quality standards to approve or reject garments before dispatch
    •    Identify quality issues early and work with factories on corrective actions
    •    Maintain and update quality control reports and inspection records
    •    Ensure all shipments align with IS.U’s quality benchmarks before handover

Key Skills & Expertise Required
    •    Strong understanding of garment construction, grading, and specs
    •    Extensive knowledge of fabric behaviour, stitching quality, finishing, and fit
    •    Ability to identify defects and deviations quickly and accurately
    •    Clear understanding of quality standards for acceptance vs rejection
    •    Strong coordination and communication skills with factories and internal teams
    •    Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
