high-quality operation of
blown film extrusion lines used in the production of flexible packaging
materials.
The role requires hands-on technical expertise in setting up, monitoring, and
adjusting extrusion
equipment to produce films that meet precise specifications for thickness,
clarity, tensile
strength, and seal integrity.
The operator works closely with quality control, maintenance, and scheduling
teams to ensure
continuous production output in line with AVS Industries' standards and
customer
requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set up blown film lines for new production runs and execute material
changeovers
efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Continuously monitor melt temperature, bubble stability, frost line height,
lay-flat width,
and film gauge.
• Adjust parameters to maintain consistent output within specification
tolerances.
• Conduct in-process quality checks including thickness measurement, visual
clarity
inspection, seal strength testing, and COF (coefficient of friction)
verification.
• Perform routine cleaning of die heads, screens, and air rings.
• Accurately complete production logs, shift reports, downtime records,
material usage
sheets, and quality control documentation in compliance with ISO and internal
audit
requirements.
• Ensure safe handling of polymer resins, masterbatches, and additives.

• Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience operating blown film extrusion
machinery in a
flexible packaging or plastics manufacturing environment
SKILLS
• Operate and monitor blown film extrusion machines.
• Set up jobs, adjust melt temperature, bubble stability, frost line, and
machine parameters.
• Ensure film quality, gauge consistency, and minimal scrap or rework.
• Follow production plan and meet output targets per shift.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, die head cleaning, and housekeeping.
• Coordinate with PPC and quality teams.
