About the role

Position	Manager / Associate Vice President
Key Duties & Responsibilities / Job Description	a) Test case preparation and Implementation of requirements to test case traceability matrix b) Test case design c) Test case execution d) Test execution reports e) Test case documentation f) Test matrices and trend and defect analysis g) Testing activity coordination and reporting h) Centralized Testing dashboard i) Defect reporting and retest after resolution j) Test script creation for automation k) Test data preparation l) Facilities to review and sign-off m) SLA related reports and matrices n) Team management
Educational Qualifications	Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience	11-14 years of experience in testing, with a focus on Life Insurance domain, New Business flows along with calculations, Policy Servicing modules knowledge, and database testing. Automation, API & Performance testing along with good presentation & reporting skills
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities	Working Knowledge: 1. Insurance Knowledge: Develop and execute test cases for Insurance concepts for individual/Group products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements along with Calculation logic. 2. Policy Servicing & Claim Knowledge: Should test New Business, Underwriting, Policy Servicing & Claim modules under Individual/Group products and exposure to automation testing processes and improve efficiency. 3. Database Testing: Develop and execute SQL queries to test database integrity, data validation, and data-driven testing. 4. Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution. 5. Process Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes, leveraging industry best practices and trends. General knowledge: Test Automation: Able to execute Automation JARS and creation of automation test data
Critical Competencies	Thorough knowledge: Manual testing with Individual Life Insurance domain and expert in New Business, Policy Servicing, Claim, Underwriting modules, Payment related modules knowledge, must knowledge for all payout computations and premium calculations and DB testing. Team management and effective presentation & reporting skill Comprehensive knowledge: Automation knowledge for Test Data preparation & execution, API testing knowledge, performance testing
Certifications, if any	III/LOMA, ISTQB, Oracle certifications will be preferred.
Other requirements, if any	1. Test Automation Frameworks: Experience with test automation frameworks like Robot Framework or Cucumber. 2. Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and testing practices. 3. Cloud Technologies: Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and tools. 4. API testing 5. Performance testing. 6. Knowledge of BrowserStack
