Role Overview
As a Business Development Executive / Manager , you will be responsible for generating new leads, converting them into clients, and executing recruitment requirements while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This role requires a proactive professional who enjoys meeting clients, understanding their needs, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business leads through calls, emails, meetings, referrals, and networking
- Client Acquisition: Approach potential clients, understand their hiring needs, and onboard them as active accounts
- Execution & Coordination: Work closely with recruitment teams to ensure timely execution and closure of open positions
- Relationship Management: Maintain regular contact with clients to understand ongoing and future hiring requirements
- Cross-Selling & Upselling: Offer additional hiring services or more roles to existing clients when there is a need
- Negotiation & Closures: Discuss commercials, close agreements, and achieve monthly and quarterly targets
- Market Understanding: Stay updated with hiring trends and industry requirements
- Travel: Visit clients and attend meetings when required for business needs
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1–5+ years of experience in business development, staffing, or recruitment sales
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Target-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple clients and requirements
- Willingness to travel when necessary
