Job Summary:

The Fleet Manager will oversee the logistical alignment of our fleet operations, ensuring efficient transportation and delivery of packaging materials across our facilities. This role is pivotal in optimizing vehicle utilization, reducing costs, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations, ultimately enhancing our supply chain effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all fleet operations, including scheduling, routing, and maintaining transportation logistics.
• Develop and implement fleet policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and repair schedules to minimize downtime and sustain optimal fleet performance.
• Analyze fleet metrics to identify trends, reduce costs, and improve service delivery in alignment with company goals.
• Collaborate with procurement to manage vehicle purchases, leases, and disposals in line with budgetary constraints.
• Supervise and train fleet personnel, cultivating a culture of accountability and professional growth within the team.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and industry standards, including environmental policies specific to the flexible packaging sector.
