Roles & Responsibilities (Professional /Technical Competencies)

:

·          Lead and manage the complete MEP function across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery within approved budgets, quality standards, and contractual commitments.

·          Develop and implement MEP execution strategies, project plans, resource allocation, and performance monitoring systems to achieve organizational objectives.

·          Review and approve MEP designs, drawings, technical submittals, material specifications, method statements, and engineering documents before submission to clients and consultants.

·          Provide technical leadership for HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, ELV, STP, WTP, Lifts, Solar Systems, and other specialized building services.

·          Establish engineering standards, construction methodologies, and best practices to improve project efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.

·          Lead coordination with clients, consultants, architects, PMC, contractors, government authorities, and internal departments for successful project execution.

·          Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

·          Oversee procurement planning, vendor evaluation, subcontractor selection, contract administration, and commercial negotiations.

·          Review project budgets, cost reports, material reconciliation, cash flow, subcontractor billing, and overall commercial performance of MEP projects.

·          Ensure effective planning and utilization of manpower, equipment, materials, and other project resources across multiple projects.

·          Drive value engineering initiatives and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality and performance.

·          Monitor compliance with project specifications, statutory regulations, safety requirements, QA/QC procedures, and company standards.

·          Lead multidisciplinary coordination meetings to resolve engineering conflicts and ensure seamless integration of MEP services with civil, architectural, and structural works

·          Ensure timely approvals of drawings, material submittals, inspections, testing & commissioning documentation, and handover requirements.

·          Establish project reporting systems and review project KPIs, productivity, profitability, and operational performance.

·          Mentor, develop, and evaluate Project Managers, Construction Managers, MEP Managers, Engineers, and site teams to build a high-performing organization.

·          Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, vendors, and key stakeholders to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

·          Participate in tender reviews, technical bid evaluations, budgeting, project planning, and business development activities.

·          Ensure successful testing, commissioning, project close-out, snag rectification, and final handover to clients.

·          Promote a culture of safety, quality, innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout the organization.
