Job Summary:

The Store Keeper at Modern Group Uganda plays a crucial role in managing stock levels, ensuring the efficient operation of the store, and contributing to the overall success of the organization. This position is pivotal in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the procurement process to meet customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring all items are stored safely and properly organized.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, manage inventory audits, and ensure timely replenishments.
• Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for quality and quantity discrepancies.
• Implement effective stock control measures to minimize losses and optimize storage space.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to forecast demand and manage supply levels.
• Prepare and maintain reports on inventory status, including stock counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Train and supervise junior staff in inventory management procedures and safety protocols.
