Position Overview:

As a Senior Data Analyst, you should have the ability to design, create, manage, and determine business use cases of large datasets. Should manage, design and implement scalable ETL processes in Qlik. They should identify improvements in current data infrastructure and SQL queries. Assist in the possible development of APIs. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns. You should be able to create data pipelines to pull data from multiple sources/types.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The ability to provide insights on complex and large datasets.
Develop and tune SQL queries.
Perform Data validation and analysis to identify data quality issues and ensure data quality and accuracy.
Discover, attain, explore, prepare datasets from a wide variety of sources to support analyses.
Optimize data models and queries for performance and efficiency, ensuring fast and accurate data retrieval.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability through data profiling, cleansing, and transformation.
Collaborate with other team members to help execute strategies and goals.
Deliver results and insights clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
Able to drive best practices related to BI Data governance, including Data Modeling optimization techniques, app performance fine-tuning, intuitive dashboard/visualizations/Report Design, Writing Complex Set analysis using Qlik and Extensions/Widgets/Mashups experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills

Initiative-taker with strong analytical, critical thinking and Problem-solving skills, able to work independently and in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
Experience working with large data sets in multiple ERPs and data streams is essential.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience with mining data from Relational Database Management System using SQL.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience with Apex, good to have.
3-5 years' experience with Qlikview/ Qliksense/ Qlik SaaS dashboards development is preferred.
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing and building ETL pipelines in Qlik.
3+ years of experience with big data technologies such as Redshift, S3.
Experiencing authoring complex SQL scripts and query performance tuning.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in technical field (Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering), Masters Preferred.
