Principal Engineer – .NET Core | Microservices | React.js

Role Overview

We are looking for a Principal Engineer with strong hands-on engineering and technical leadership experience to drive solution architecture, design, and execution of complex enterprise applications. The candidate will work closely with engineering and domain leaders to define scalable solutions and take ownership from solution design through successful delivery .

Experience

8+ years of software engineering experience with proven experience as a Technical Lead / Lead Engineer / Principal Engineer .

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, secure, and highly available applications using .NET Core and Microservices architecture .

Prepare HLD/LLD, architecture diagrams, API designs, and technical solution documents .

Translate business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions.

Collaborate with Domain Leaders, Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering Leaders to evaluate options, resolve dependencies, and finalize solutions.

Lead technical discussions and make architecture and technology decisions.

Drive implementation of the proposed solutions and ensure successful delivery of technical deliverables.

Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code/design reviews for engineering teams.

Identify technical risks, performance issues, and architectural bottlenecks and drive them to resolution.

Remain hands-on with development, particularly for critical components and complex technical challenges.

Ensure solutions follow enterprise standards for security, scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability .

Must-Have Skills

8+ years of software development experience.

Strong hands-on expertise in C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core .

Strong experience in Microservices architecture and distributed systems .

Hands-on experience with React.js .

Excellent understanding of REST APIs, API design, and system integration .

Strong knowledge of SQL/database design .

Proven Technical Lead / technical leadership experience .

Strong experience in solution architecture, HLD/LLD, and design documentation .

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to take ownership of solutions from concept to production delivery .

Preferred Skills

Experience with AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure .

Docker / Kubernetes.

Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or similar messaging platforms.

CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Domain-Driven Design and Event-Driven Architecture.
