Job Summary:
The Contracts and Procurement Specialist will play a critical role in managing
the procurement lifecycle from pre to post-contract phases. This position
emphasizes ensuring compliance, optimizing costs, and enhancing supplier
relationships, ultimately contributing to the organization’s success in
project delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the procurement process by developing, reviewing, and negotiating
contracts in accordance with company policies and legal standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project requirements and
strategize procurement solutions that align with organizational goals.

Manage billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoicing and
payment approvals.

Oversee Quantity Surveying (QS) activities to analyze cost implications and
enhance financial performance of projects.

Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their
performance based on pre-defined metrics.

Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates on contract
status, procurement trends, and any discrepancies that may arise.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout
the lifecycle of the contract.
Requirements:

10-12 years of experience in contracts management and procurement, with a
focus on the construction or engineering sectors.

Strong understanding of pre and post-contract processes, including risk
management and contractual obligations.
- Proficiency in billing procedures and Quantity Surveying principles.

Exceptional negotiation and communication skills to effectively manage
supplier relationships and resolve conflicts.

Demonstrated ability to analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports for
stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a
related field.

Familiarity with E-procurement platforms and contract management software.
Preferred Qualifications:

procurement and contracts management.
