GM – Electrical Design

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional for the role of GM – Electrical Design to lead and drive electrical design excellence for large-scale data centre EPC projects. The role requires deep technical expertise, leadership capability, and a strong understanding of mission-critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the electrical design function for Data Center EPC projects from concept to execution
Develop and review detailed engineering designs including power distribution, UPS systems, HT/LT panels, DG systems, and earthing
Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and client specifications
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including project execution, procurement, and business development
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the design team
Review vendor drawings, technical submissions, and ensure design optimization
Drive innovation, cost optimization, and value engineering in electrical systems
Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and project presentations
 

Eligibility Criteria

Experience: 15–20 years in Electrical Design, preferably in Data Center / EPC / Mission Critical projects
Qualification: BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Strong expertise in Data Center electrical infrastructure and international standards
Proven leadership experience managing large design teams and complex projects
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
