Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager, Global Platform Technology to join our Global Platform Technology team. The role is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-scale business applications while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-quality technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will be a techno-functional leader with strong full-stack development experience, proven team leadership capabilities, expertise in modern application architectures, and the ability to deliver scalable solutions in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of software engineers and provide technical guidance, mentoring, and delivery oversight

Own project delivery commitments and ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and business objectives

Provide regular project status updates, risk assessments, and technical recommendations to business and technology stakeholders

Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Collaborate with business users to analyze requirements and prioritize enhancements

Design, develop, test, and support enterprise web applications and APIs while ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions

Contribute to application architecture, modernization initiatives, and technology best practices

Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and drive engineering best practices.

Drive reliability, observability, and performance optimization efforts

Work within Agile/Scrum teams and actively contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Support team member development through coaching, performance feedback, and career mentoring.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

10+ years of overall experience in software development and application delivery

5+ years of hands-on experience in:

.NET Core

ASP.NET Core Web APIs

React.js

PostgreSQL

Knowledge of secure coding practices, vulnerability remediation, and application security principles

Experience implementing automated testing and code quality standards

Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs and enterprise web applications

Proficiency in Git-based source control management and experience working with Bitbucket repositories

Good understanding of Micro Frontend and Microservices Architecture and distributed application design

Experience leading teams of 3-10 engineers

Experience conducting code reviews and technical mentoring

Experience working with business stakeholders

Experience in solution design and architecture reviews

Understanding of SDLC governance and release management

Exposure to application monitoring, performance optimization, and production support.

Experience working with enterprise CI/CD pipelines, release management processes, and DevOps-enabled software delivery.

Experience working in SCRUM/Agile development environments

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

Experience Level

10+ years of overall software development experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core APIs, React.js, and PostgreSQL.

Notice Period Preference: Candidates available within 90 days will be considered; shorter notice periods preferred.
