Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Java Developers with strong hands-on expertise in Java, JavaScript, and
relational databases (RDBMS) to join a large enterprise application development and modernization program.
The ideal candidate should have strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on development experience,
and the ability to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities
 Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
 Develop backend services, APIs, and business logic using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
 Develop and maintain frontend/web application components using JavaScript.
 Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate applications with internal and external systems.
 Work extensively with relational databases (RDBMS) for application development and data management.
 Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, database objects, and data access
components.
 Troubleshoot application, database, integration, and production issues.
 Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
 Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews.
 Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, and other development
teams.
 Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
 Support application deployments and production releases.
 Follow enterprise standards for security, scalability, reliability, and application performance.
Required Technical Skills
Mandatory Skills
 Strong hands-on experience with Core Java / Java/J2EE.
 Strong experience with Spring / Spring Boot.
 Good hands-on experience with JavaScript.
 Strong experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, or DB2.
 Strong knowledge of SQL, joins, indexing, queries, and database performance optimization.
 Experience developing and consuming REST APIs / Web Services.
 Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.
 Experience with Git or similar source-control tools.
 Experience with Maven or Gradle.
 Good debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Experience & Qualifications
 6–9 years of overall software development experience.
 Strong hands-on development experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, and RDBMS technologies.
 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
 Experience working on enterprise-scale applications.
 Ability to independently understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 Good written and verbal communication skills.
