Job Summary:

The Mechanical Maintenance Officer will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment to achieve maximum equipment availability, minimize downtime, and support production targets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain batching plants, mixers, conveyors, cranes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures.
• Coordinate with production teams for timely maintenance activities.
• Maintain maintenance records and monitor spare parts availability.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, 5S, and plant safety standards.
• Support installation, commissioning, and improvement of plant equipment.

Educational Qualification

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in precast concrete, building materials, cement, heavy engineering, automobile, construction, or related industries.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Good communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.
• Strong focus on safety, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.
