ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead end-to-end production
operations at our masterbatch manufacturing facility in Bavla, Gujarat. The
role demands strong hands-on expertise in granulation and twin screw extrusion
processes, disciplined execution of formulations, structured production
planning, and effective people leadership.
This is a plant-critical role with long-term growth potential into senior
operations leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in line
with sales and dispatch requirements

Ensure strict adherence to approved recipes, formulations, and SOPs without
deviation

Oversee operation, setup, and routine troubleshooting of twin screw
extruders, pulverisers, mixers, and feeding systems
-
Monitor and improve production output, yield, downtime, and process
efficiency

Coordinate closely with QC/QA teams to ensure consistent product quality and
batch traceability

Manage shift planning, manpower allocation, attendance, and shop-floor
discipline

Lead, train, and supervise production supervisors, operators, and helpers

Maintain accurate production records, batch data, and raw material
consumption through ERP systems
- Control inventory usage and reduce wastage, rejections, and rework

Ensure compliance with safety norms, housekeeping (5S), and statutory
requirements

Coordinate with maintenance, stores, and dispatch teams to avoid operational
bottlenecks

Support new product trials, scale-ups, and process improvement initiatives
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

10–12 years of experience in the plastic masterbatch / compounding industry

Strong hands-on experience in granulation and twin screw extrusion-based
manufacturing
- Proven experience in production planning and execution

Deep understanding of formulations, dosing systems, mixing, and process
parameters
- Prior experience managing shop-floor teams

Working knowledge of ERP systems for production tracking and inventory
control

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Polymer, Plastics, Mechanical, or related field
(preferred)

COMPENSATION (CTC BAND)
₹10 LPA – ₹16 LPA, depending on experience, technical capability, and
leadership depth.
