Job Description: Export Manager – Agro
Commodities (Cocoa & Cashew)
Location: Nigeria
Reporting To: Commercial Head / Finance Controller

Role Summary
Own and execute end-to-end export operations for cocoa and cashew, ensuring timely
shipment execution, strong coordination with clearing agents and shipping lines, and full
compliance with export requirements.

Key Responsibilities
 Container Planning & Execution: Plan containers as per confirmed orders and
contract timelines; ensure timely gate-in and loading on scheduled vessels; meet TAT
and avoid rollovers through close coordination with CHA and shipping lines.
 Export Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and verify all export documents
(Invoice, Packing List, BL instructions, COO, Phytosanitary, Fumigation, Form NXP);
ensure compliance with Nigerian export regulations and buyer requirements.
 Stakeholder Management: Manage clearing agents (CHA) for smooth port operations;
coordinate with shipping lines for bookings, rollovers, and BL issuance; work closely
with warehouse ,finance & UAE team.
 Cost & Efficiency: Control freight and logistics costs; minimize demurrage/detention;
resolve shipment issues proactively.

Requirements
 8–12 years of export experience of agro commodities preferred
 Mandatory: Experience in cocoa exports
 Strong hands-on experience with clearing agents and shipping lines
 Good understanding of Nigerian export and port operations
 High ownership, execution focus, and attention to detail

 Contract timeline (TAT) adherence
 Smooth coordination with CHA & shipping lines
