Assistant Vice President - CBG - HDFC Ergo
Job Summary:
The Assistant Vice President for Commercial Business Group (CBG) at HDFC Ergo
will play a critical role in driving the growth and profitability of our
commercial insurance segment. This position is key in developing strategic
business plans, fostering client relationships, and ensuring exceptional
service delivery within our insurance portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute comprehensive business strategies aimed at expanding HDFC
Ergo’s market presence in the commercial insurance sector.

Develop and manage client relationships to understand their insurance needs
and tailor solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Analyze market trends and competitors to refine product offerings and
identify new opportunities for growth.

Oversee the performance of the CBG team, providing mentorship and guidance
to optimize individual and team productivity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product development and
drive innovative solutions in commercial insurance.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports to
present to senior management on business performance and strategic
initiatives.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
while maintaining high ethical standards in all business dealings.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. MBA
preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in the insurance sector, with a proven
track record in business development and client management.

Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and market dynamics.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
present complex information clearly and persuasively.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing teams
effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
