Regional Head Bancassurance

Job Summary:

The Regional Head of Bancassurance is pivotal in driving the growth and profitability of our bancassurance partnerships across the region. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that align with our organizational goals while enhancing client relationships and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the regional bancassurance strategy to enhance product offerings and expand market reach.
Collaborate with banking partners to identify opportunities for product integration and cross-selling.
Manage and mentor a high-performing team of sales and relationship management professionals.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and positioning.
Develop and implement training programs for bank staff to effectively promote and sell bancassurance products.
Monitor performance metrics and generate reports to assess progress toward sales targets and objectives.
Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders within the banking sector and insurance industry.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the insurance or financial services industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated expertise in bancassurance models and sales strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to influence and persuade.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing relationships effectively.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with digital transformation initiatives in bancassurance.
Certification in insurance (e.g., CPCU, LOMA) is highly regarded.
Prior experience in developing new bancassurance partnerships and managing multi-channel distribution.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
