Position Sr. Manager – R&D
Job Description /
Responsibilities

Technical Leadership
• Lead the development of formulations, coatings, laminations, and fabric
designs, ensuring compatibility across materials and processes.
• Translate application requirements into robust product specifications and
process parameters.
• Identify opportunities for product enhancements, cost reduction, and new
material sourcing.
• Ensure seamless integration of R&D activities with production and quality
systems.
Strategic Planning & Execution
• Define project goals, timelines, and deliverables, managing multiple
projects across product lines.
• Guide troubleshooting efforts, risk assessment, and preventive strategies for
product and process issues.
• Support technical marketing by providing application insights and
collaborating with sales teams to meet customer expectations.
Team Development & Collaboration
• Mentor and lead R&D teams, fostering innovation, accountability, and skill
development.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with QA, production, maintenance, and
marketing teams.
• Encourage knowledge-sharing and structured documentation of research,
trials, and process improvements.
Quality & Compliance
• Develop and standardize testing protocols, material handling methods, and
cleanliness procedures.
• Ensure products meet industry standards, customer expectations, and safety
requirements.
• Partner with QA for quality audits, troubleshooting, and warranty
development.
Project Management & Compliance
• Plan and prioritize R&D trials based on customer requirements, production
schedules, and material availability.
• Develop warranty policies based on product performance and industry
benchmarks.
• Ensure compliance with international testing standards and internal audit
systems.
• Lead efforts to create a “Quality Culture” throughout the organization by
promoting vigilance, proactive problem-solving, and continuous
improvement.

Preferred Experience
• Hands-on experience in technical textiles, polymer coatings, or adhesives in
process industries
• Exposure to product scaling, industrial trials, and customer-facing technical
roles
• Familiarity with international testing standards and laboratory practices
• Experience in quality systems, troubleshooting, and process optimization

Qualification MSc in polymer science/Material science
B.Tech in Polymer/paint/textile

Location of Posting Nashik – Satpur
Reporting to CTO – R & D
Relevant Industry Textile, coating/Paint, polymer compounding
Interview Process Local candidate - Face to Face Outstation

candidate:
- Zoom or Telephonic (initial interview)
- Once shortlisted then Face to Face for which company will provide Train Fare
of AC.
(Candidate may use Air Travel but company will give only Train 3 AC Fare)
Location Preference All over Maharashtra who are willing to relocate to Nashik. (Company does not
provide any accommodation, so candidate willing to relocate by own
arrangement)
