Qualification

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Additional certifications in IFRS/IND AS preferred

Relevant Industry Experience

• 3–4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, MIS reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or business finance roles
• Experience in BFSI preferred; exposure to financial modelling & BI tools is an added advantage

Objective of the Role

The Financial Reporting role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements while ensuring compliance with regulatory, statutory, and internal guidelines. The role supports management by delivering analytical insights, ensuring governance, and maintaining high standards of reporting accuracy and control.

Job Description / Responsibilities

1. Financial Statement Preparation

·        Supervise and coordinate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements by collecting GL, subsidiary, and variance analysis.

2. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

·        Ensure compliance with SOPs pertaining to finance while undertaking risk mitigation initiatives.

·        Maintain proper financial and accounting systems, internal control environment, and apply the complete regulatory requirement of business and outcomes.

3. Product & Services Accounting

·        Managing the accounting schema for new products and services.

4. Process Improvement & Automation

·        Review the existing processes to achieve efficiency and identify areas to automate work.

5. Internal & External Audit Support

·        Coordinate timely closure of various audits.

6. Compliance Reporting

·        Review Financial Reporting, compliances and disclosures as per Companies Act, RBI, IND AS including all RPT, borrowing, investments, etc.

Required skills

·        Financial reporting and accounting with an understanding of the banking industry.

·        Working knowledge of ICAI/IFRS, IND AS, consolidation of FS .
