Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain
scalable, insight-rich analytics solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate should
have strong expertise in Power BI development, data modeling, DAX, data integration, and
dashboard development, with the ability to work closely with business and technical teams to
deliver effective analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
 Develop and maintain scalable Power BI solutions covering data modeling,
integration, visualization, and performance tuning.
 Develop enterprise-grade data models using Star and composite architectures.
 Design and develop scalable, interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
 Develop ETL and ELT pipelines to ingest and transform structured, semi-structured,
and API-driven data sources.
 Implement data ingestion and transformation using Python and shell scripting.
 Integrate and harmonize data from diverse API sources across applications,
platforms, and third-party services.
 Develop interactive dashboards and data storytelling solutions for executives,
analysts, and operational teams.
 Optimize Power BI semantic models, DAX calculations, and reports for
performance and reusability.
 Support deployment and maintenance of Power BI solutions across development,
testing, and production environments.
 Troubleshoot data, report, dashboard, and performance-related issues.
 Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and
translate them into effective analytics solutions.
Required Qualifications
 8+ years of experience in Power BI development and analytics engineering.
 Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query/M.
 Strong understanding of data modeling, including Star, and composite models.
 Experience with API-based data ingestion and integration.
 Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
 Strong experience in ETL/ELT development, data transformation, and data quality.
 Experience developing complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic
models.
 Strong understanding of Power BI performance tuning and optimization
techniques.

 Experience working with cloud platforms such as Oracle OCI.
 Good understanding of data security, access controls, and Power BI workspace
management.
 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
 Experience with Power BI Premium capacity and deployment pipelines.
 Experience with advanced DAX, M language, and performance optimization.
 Experience integrating third-party BI tools, data lakehouses, or stream-processing
services.
 Exposure to Microsoft Fabric.
 Experience with Power BI Service, gateways, workspaces, and scheduled data
refresh.
 Understanding of CI/CD practices for Power BI deployments.
 Ability to work with business stakeholders and translate business requirements into
effective BI solutions.
