Location: Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania

The Facade Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end facade process,
from shop drawings to material procurement, tracking, and on-site installation oversight.
This individual should be able to coordinate with various stakeholders and ensure smooth
execution of facade-related works.

Key Responsibilities:
● Design & Documentation:
○ Develop shop drawings using Revit, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
software.
○ Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project teams to
ensure designs are technically feasible.

● Procurement & Costing:
○ Prepare material lists and conduct material take-offs.
○ Liaise with vendors, evaluate pricing, and finalize procurement decisions.
○ Release purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.
● Logistics & On-Site Execution:
○ Track material production, shipping, and delivery schedules.
○ Ensure quality control on-site and coordinate installation teams.
○ Troubleshoot facade-related challenges and provide solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:
● Education: Technical degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical
Engineering, or related field.
● Experience: 7-10 years in facade engineering, covering design, procurement, and
installation.
● Software Proficiency: Revit, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or any relevant facade-related
software.
● Skills:
○ Strong coordination skills between consultants, vendors, and site teams.
○ Experience in procurement management & vendor negotiations.
○ Ability to manage on-site installations & quality control.
● Languages: Must be fluent in Hindi and English to effectively communicate with
suppliers and the internal team.
