About the Role
Venus Group is looking for a seasoned EHS leader to drive a zero-harm, compliance-driven safety culture across all projects. This role will anchor EHS strategy, governance, and execution across multiple construction sites, ensuring best-in-class safety standards and risk mitigation practices.
What You’ll Own
EHS Strategy & Governance
- Define and implement organization-wide EHS policies and standards
- Ensure compliance with statutory and environmental regulations
- Drive a proactive, safety-first culture across all projects
Risk & Safety Management
- Lead risk assessments (HIRA, JSA/JHA, SWMS) and mitigation planning
- Oversee safety systems: work permits, toolbox talks, safety inductions
- Ensure safe execution across high-rise, commercial, and infra projects
Audit, Compliance & Reporting
- Lead internal/external audits and compliance frameworks
- Monitor EHS KPIs, MIS, and safety dashboards
- Drive continuous improvement and corrective action systems
Training & Culture Building
- Conduct EHS trainings, mock drills, and awareness programs
- Strengthen emergency preparedness and response systems
- Build safety ownership across employees, contractors, and vendors
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor EHS teams across multiple sites
- Collaborate with Projects, PMC, Contractors, and Leadership
- Drive accountability and performance across the EHS function
What We’re Looking For
- 15+ years of EHS experience in Real Estate / Construction / EPC / PMC
- Strong expertise in construction safety, risk assessment, and compliance
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-site projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on experience with audits, safety systems, and regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical preferred)
- Advanced Diploma in Environment, Health & Safety
- Certifications in Safety / Fire / First Aid (preferred)
