ABOUT THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Modelling and Underwriting
- Project cash flow models, returns, debt sizing and security cover, and waterfalls for every live file.
- Rebuild sponsor-supplied models independently rather than reviewing theirs.
- Sensitivities that show where a deal breaks, not only where it works.
- Client and Investor Documents
- Pitch books, teasers, Information Memoranda, management presentations and LP decks.
- Ownership of the credentials book and brag book, updated after every closing.
- Deal Execution Support
- Diligence checklists, data rooms, investor query tracking and deal timetables.
- Coordination with legal, tax, valuers and technical consultants.
- Fund and Sponsor Investment Support
- Underwriting notes and Investment Committee papers for our own capital and co-investments.
- Portfolio monitoring across investee entities.
- Quarterly LP reporting and distribution workings.
- Deal Discussions and Counterparty Meetings
- Attend internal deal discussions and meetings with developers, operators, lenders and investors.
- Prepare the pre-meeting brief — counterparty background, our position, and the numbers most likely to be questioned.
- Capture decisions and actions the same day and own the follow-ups through to closure.
- Progressively lead parts of the discussion, starting with the numbers.
- Deal Intelligence — Market and Capital
- Maintain the deal register, transaction comparables, capital tracker and pricing benchmarks.
- Track who is raising and deploying capital, and keep the relationship map current.
- Prepare the weekly review with the week's usable findings.
- Deal Research — Sector and Micro-Market
- Asset class and micro-market notes that feed directly into live pitches and underwriting.
- Track regulatory and policy changes that affect how we structure.
