will progressively take ownership of defined drawing packages, while

What You Will Do
Modelling and documentation
-
Develop and update architectural Revit models from sketches, design
instructions, reference drawings and approved changes.
-
Prepare coordinated floor plans, elevations, sections, enlarged layouts,
schedules and construction drawing packages.
-
Produce construction details for façades, staircases, doors, windows, wet
areas, ceilings, finishes and interior fit-out works.
-
Maintain consistency between BIM models, drawings, annotations, dimensions
and schedules.
-
Manage views, sheets, templates, families, parameters, links and
worksharing in accordance with project standards.
Coordination and quality
-
Coordinate architectural information with structural and MEP models,
identify conflicts, and raise issues requiring design decisions.
-
Use Autodesk Construction Cloud for document sharing, review comments,
issue tracking, revision control and approved information releases.
-
Incorporate review comments accurately and apply relevant corrections
throughout the drawing package.
-
Carry out model and drawing quality checks before submitting work for
review.
Construction-stage support
-
Support responses to site queries and the preparation of revised drawings
and details, under the Lead Architect’s direction.
-
Assist with shop drawing reviews, material information, procurement
documentation and as-built updates.
Records and communication
-
Maintain drawing registers, revision records and clear records of
outstanding information.
-
Communicate progress, missing inputs and potential delays promptly.
What We Are Looking For

Approximately five years of relevant architectural BIM, drafting and
construction documentation experience.

Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and working knowledge of AutoCAD.
-
Practical experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360.
-
Demonstrated ability to produce architectural construction drawings and
detailed documentation from Revit.
-
Sound understanding of building materials, construction assemblies,
levels, dimensions and architectural interfaces.
-
Experience coordinating architectural work with structural and MEP
information.
-
Ability to follow established office standards and produce organised,
consistent deliverables.
-
Strong attention to detail, self-checking habits and a disciplined
response to review comments.
-
Clear written and spoken English, and willingness to relocate to Dar es
Salaam, Tanzania.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
-
A degree or diploma in architecture, architectural technology, drafting or
a related discipline. Candidates with equivalent demonstrated technical
ability will also be considered.

Experience delivering architectural documentation for international
clients, particularly in the UK, US, Australia, Europe or the Middle East.

deadlines.
-
Complete self-checks before every review submission.

Incorporate feedback thoroughly and demonstrate a reduction in repeated
errors.
-
Identify missing information and construction conflicts before drawing
release.
-
Progressively take ownership of defined drawing packages while maintaining
appropriate review and approval.
