Quality Manager

Purpose of the Role:

To lead the quality function, ensuring strategic alignment with company goals, customer expectations, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the plant’s overall quality strategy.
• Lead the QA/QC team and allocate responsibilities effectively.
• Ensure compliance with Unilever’s Collaborative Manufacturer Quality Manual and Sedex requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Report quality KPIs to senior management and customers.
• Conduct risk assessments related to product safety and contamination.
• Ensure coordination between quality, production, and supply chain teams.
• Represent the company during customer and third-party audits.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or Polymer Science.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in packaging/film manufacturing quality roles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory and customer compliance frameworks.
