General Manager – Job Profile
Location: General Manager for the Beverage company in Kinshasa, Democratic
Republic of the Congo (DRC)
Industry: Beverages (Water, CSD and Diary Products)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled General Manager to lead the
complete operations of our new manufacturing company located in Kinshasa, DRC. The
ideal candidate will have at least 20 years of experience in the beverages industry with
profound knowledge of enterprise-wide operations and strong leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the entire factory operations, including production, procurement,
quality control, Sales , Marketing, Finance & Accounts, logistics, maintenance and other
Administrative activities involved to Manage the affairs of the Company.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to streamline operations and enhance
productivity.
- Lead recruitment, screening, and training processes to build a highly skilled and
motivated workforce. Monitor their performances by introducing the suitable KPI
- Ensure worker safety and strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory
requirements.
- Monitor machinery and equipment, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs to
minimize downtime.
- Prepare, manage, and implement budgets, production plans, and operational
schedules. And to review the same at periodical intervals.
- Ensure compliance with all industry standards, statutory regulations, and quality
benchmarks.
- Coordinate with departments such as sales, finance, supply chain, and customer
service to align organizational objectives.
- Resolve operational issues, staff disputes, and workflow bottlenecks effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of all factory activities and present periodic reports on key
performance metrics.

- Communicate with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders regarding factory
performance and operational updates.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in the beverages sector and factory management.
( Experience in African market is prefered)
- Profound knowledge of enterprise operations, production processes, machinery, and
tools.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and guide
teams.
- Excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities, especially under pressure.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to design and implement effective strategies for operational improvement.
- Knowledge of industry standards, compliance requirements, and regulatory
frameworks.
- Proficiency in French / Swahili is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
- Experience in lean manufacturing principles.
