Role Description:
Responsible for all existing operational contracts, contract retention, contract growth and
development within the relevant area and strengthen the portfolio, reputation and image of
Sodexo
Key Responsibilities
− Ensure the profitable delivery of operations, control of costs & overheads through
achievement of business targets for GOP.
− Responsible for the delivery and expansion of sales and margin in all operations
ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations and Sodexo policies and
procedures.
− machinery.
− Responsible for efficient operation & maintenance of all utilities in Green Building
concepts incorporated in Utility design such as Heat Pump, DOAS, Air Compressors,
vacuum Pumps, Air cooled Chillers, Air Handling Units, HVAC, Central Medical Gas
supply system, STP, Electrical, DG set, Plumbing, lifts and escalators , Pneumatic tube
convening system ,structured cabling and Rain water harvesting system,facility
maintenance including civil engineering work like new small projects etc.
− Training the Operations team/Facility Managers/executives to understand the SLA and
MIS and project challenges to meet targeted Unit Profits.
− Conduct of periodic Bench mark Audits, Night audits, HSE Audits, Energy Audits and
process compliance audits.
− Analytical approach for understanding the scope of cost reduction without hampering
the quality of services To follow up & coordinate with various agencies like BEST, Lift
inspector. BMC, Electrical Inspector, PCB, etc. Identification, Bid evaluation,
negotiation and finalisation of vendor for service/ supply of material.
− Support new business development through the promotion and costing of products &
services and response to tenders & proposals which deliver new business in Sodexo’s
Integrated Facilities Management activities.
− Responsible for establishing and maintaining multi-level and business unit
relationships with clients ensuring a full understanding of the hierarchy and strategic
vision of the client.
− Experience in taking over of engineering machinery (HVAC, DG, UPS, STP, WTP, FA &
MGPS system) from project team & familiarity with O&M protocols of all engineering
− To prepare duty schedules of staff & motivates them to achieve high productivity. To
perform energy audit from external agency & to implement the energy conservation
program.
− To prepare Planed Preventive Maintenance Program & to ensure that is implemented
100%. To carry out performance appraisal of all engineering
staff
− Ensure a comprehensive understanding of and meet all customer expectations under
each of the relevant client agreements.
− Prepare timely and accurate financial and qualitative reports; Report on the same to the
Regional Head-Operations on a monthly basis and as and when required.
− Be proactive in the recovery of overdue , if any, owing from internal and external clients
and maintain a close relationship with Sodexo Finance team to ensure all suppliers and
contractor payments are managed effectively.
− Manage, mentor and maintain a strong working relationship with the Business
Development & Operational Teams, offer assistance wherever and whenever required.
− Liase with team to ensure alignment with the business goals and vision of Sodexo.
− Ensure quality of work by adhering to Sodexo service standards
Qualifications:
• Mandatory Engineering /Electrical or Mechanical
• Minimum 14+ years IFM Service Operations
• Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment
• Good knowledge of non - core business activities
• Extensive knowledge of the resources and facilities management sectors in the
region preferable
• Leadership and team building skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Sound business acumen &Client focus
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a mentally demanding environment.
