Job Summary:

We are looking for candidates who can oversee the entire notebook & copier production process, from paper purchasing and printing to binding and final packaging.

A Production Manager for an Notebook / Exercise book / Copier Paper / Register Book production, managing the entire process from paper ruling, printing, folding, stitching, and trimming. Responsible for project costing, scheduling, quality control, and ensuring that books meet design specifications, budget, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning and Scheduling: Manage day-to-day operations, including prepress, printing, bindery, and packaging, to ensure notebooks are produced on schedule.
• Operational Excellence: Implement process improvements to reduce wastage (e.g., paper/ink) and increase efficiency, particularly in high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Quality Control: Enforce strict quality standards for printing alignment, bindery quality, and paper stock to meet customer specifications.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate production staff, operators, and maintenance teams.
• Inventory & Supplier Management: Oversee the purchasing and inventory management of raw materials (paper, ink, glue) and manage supplier relationships.
• Plant Maintenance: Ensure machinery (offset/digital presses, cutting machines, binding machines) operates efficiently through scheduled maintenance.
• Cost Control & Budgeting: Manage operational costs, reduce overhead, and ensure the business meets its financial targets.
• Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align strategies and optimize sales efforts.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure the factory adheres to safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Education & Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Printing Technology

Year of Experience: 12 to 15 Years

Type of industry: Stationary - Notebook Printing or high-volume publishing.

Additional: Ready to relocate as a bachelor status.
