Job Summary:

The Quality Control Engineer will oversee daily quality checks on precast concrete products, including inspection & testing of raw materials, monitoring of production processes including but not limited to pre & post pour of formwork, reinforcement checks against BBS, and final product verification against technical specifications and standards. The role involves preparing and maintaining, test records, and inspection reports, as well as identifying non-conformities and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with production teams. The Quality Control Engineer will collaborate with production to ensure compliance with relevant standards, customer specific requirements, and internal operating procedures. The position also includes customer site visit, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and providing feedback and training to operational staff on best practices in quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong foundation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with experience in inspecting materials, processes, and finished precast products.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills and problem-solving ability to interpret test results, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Knowledge of Quality Management principles, standards, and documentation practices, preferably within precast, concrete industries.
• Effective Communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, document findings clearly, and interact with clients, vendors, and supervisors.
• Familiarity with relevant testing methods, measuring instruments, and quality tools (e.g., Pour Cards, Checklists, Batch Sheet, Process Non Conformity and RCA, CAPA).
• Ability to work on-site in a production environment, with attention to Quality & Safety regulations and operational discipline.    
• Knowledge of Pre Dispatch inspection of Finish Goods in terms of finishing, identification as per internal SOP.
• Experience with industry standards, and prior experience of precast or concrete products is an advantage.
