Job Summary:

The AVP Finance plays a pivotal role in steering financial strategies and ensuring compliance with global standards. This leadership position is crucial for the implementation of IFRS 17/Ind AS, fostering collaboration across departments, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of IFRS 17 / Ind AS across the organization, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with new regulations.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors to guarantee timely completion of limited reviews and statutory audits for accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and present financial presentations to facilitate insightful discussions with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain key financial workings and reports in accordance with both IFRS and US GAAP requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights for decision-making processes.
• Mentor and guide junior finance team members, fostering their professional development and growth.

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory.
• Proven experience in finance management and regulatory reporting, particularly involving IFRS and US GAAP.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of financial compliance and internal controls.
• Proficient in financial software and tools commonly used in the industry.
