Role Summary
We are looking for a Business Analyst to act as a liaison between business
users, technical analysts and technology teams. The role involves gathering
and analyzing business requirements, designing solutions and ensuring
optimal system performance for market infrastructure applications.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements Elicitation:
Gather and understand business needs from multiple stakeholders.

Requirement Analysis & Documentation:
Define and document Business Requirement Specifications (BRS/BRD) and
Functional Requirements.

Stakeholder Management:
Act as a liaison between business users, operations, and technology teams.

Process & Feasibility Analysis:
Analyze current-state processes, assess technical feasibility and
recommend solutions.

Solution Design:
-
Create target-state business processes and workflows.
-
Lead design discussions for screens, reports, interfaces and APIs.
-
Create use case-based process flows and functional models.
-
System Understanding:
Develop a strong understanding of the IT application landscape and
integrations.

Testing & Quality Assurance:
Review test scenarios, support UAT and maintain requirement traceability.

Change Management & Training:
Prepare user manuals, conduct training and support change management
initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Expertise

Domain:
Strong understanding of Indian Capital Markets, Depository Operations, and
Market Infrastructure. NSE/NCFM/NISM certification desirable.

Capital Markets:
Knowledge of Equities, Mutual Funds, Custody Services, Pledge, Margin
Pledge/Re-Pledge, Margin Trading Facility (MTF), Clearing and Settlement.

Documentation:
Experience creating BRDs, FRS, use cases, process flows, screen layouts
and functional specifications.

System Design:
Exposure to business rules, data migration, interfaces and integration
requirements.

Technical:
Understanding of databases and SQL, data structures and system
architecture.

API Knowledge (Good to Have):
Understanding of APIs and integrations from a Business Analyst
perspective, including requirement gathering, interface specifications,
request/response flows and API testing support.
