Job Description – Channel Manager (Corporate DSA)
Department - Corporate DSA (Sales)
Designation - Channel Manager
Reports To - Head – DSA Channel
Job Purpose
The Channel Manager is responsible for managing, developing, and strengthening
relationships with Corporate Direct Selling Agents (DSAs) to drive sustainable
business growth and achieve assigned sales targets. The role involves
understanding DSA needs, providing ongoing support, ensuring smooth
coordination across internal teams, and maintaining high levels of partner
satisfaction and retention.
Key Job Responsibilities
Business Development
•Identify, evaluate, and onboard new Corporate DSAs to expand the business
network and increase market penetration.
Sales Management
•Implement, manage, and monitor sales activities to achieve volume and value
targets through the Corporate DSA channel.
•Ensure consistent performance and productivity from assigned DSAs.
Relationship Management
•Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Corporate DSAs to
ensure engagement, loyalty, and continued business flow.
•Act as the primary point of contact for DSA-related queries and escalations.
Coordination & Process Management
•Coordinate closely with internal teams such as Credit, Legal, Operations, and
Product to ensure smooth processing from lead sourcing to loan disbursement.
•Ensure adherence to internal policies, compliance standards, and turnaround
times.
Promotional & Business Development Activities
•Plan and execute promotional campaigns, sales drives, and business
development initiatives across the assigned region or division.
•Conduct regular meetings, training, and engagement sessions with DSAs to
improve product knowledge and performance.
Target Achievement & Performance Monitoring
•Consistently achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives.
•Track performance metrics, analyse gaps, and take corrective actions to
optimize results.
Educational Qualifications
•Graduate or MBA (preferred)
Relevant Experience
•Mandatory 5–8 years of experience in sales, preferably within the NBFC
sector, with hands-on exposure to Tractor and Commercial Vehicle financing.
Required Skills & Competencies
•Market Understanding: Strong knowledge of the local market dynamics and
Corporate DSA landscape.
•Geographical Knowledge: Familiarity with regional geography, local
regulations, and statutory requirements.
•Process Knowledge: Clear understanding of end-to-end sales, credit, and
disbursement processes involving customers and DSAs.
•Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of NBFC financial products,
especially asset financing solutions.
•Target Orientation: Strong focus on achieving sales targets, growth
objectives, and business goals with a results-driven mindset.
