About the role
We are seeking a hands-on OpenShift (OCP) Application Support Engineer with
strong experience in deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting applications
on Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms. The ideal candidate should have
experience in L1/L2 production support, incident management, and root cause
analysis for containerized applications.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of total experience with 3+ years in OpenShift/Kubernetes (Application Support)
- Strong hands-on experience in application deployment and troubleshooting on OCP
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes core objects (Pods, Deployments, Services, etc.)
- Experience in handling production incidents (L2 Support)
- Hands-on with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana
- Experience with logging tools: EFK Stack / Splunk
- Hands-on experience with Helm
- Good understanding of Docker and container lifecycle
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP in container environments)
- Strong Linux fundamentals and log analysis skills
