Head – Construction

Role Brief

We are looking for a senior construction leader who can take complete ownership of construction execution and project delivery across multiple projects, with strong responsibility for timelines, quality, cost, safety and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

·          Provide overall leadership for construction execution across multiple projects.

·          Own project planning, execution, timelines, cost, quality, safety and final handover.

·          Lead Project Heads, construction teams, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.

·          Monitor project progress, critical paths, budgets, resources and execution risks.

·          Drive contractor and vendor management, commercial control and productivity.

·          Ensure projects are executed as per approved designs, specifications and quality standards.

·          Ensure adherence to statutory, safety and compliance requirements.

·          Identify project bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to maintain timelines.

·          Establish construction processes, reporting systems and performance benchmarks.

·          Work closely with promoters and senior leadership on project strategy and key decisions.

·          Lead and mentor large construction teams across multiple projects.

Ideal Candidate

·          20+ years of overall experience with significant senior leadership exposure.

·          Strong background in large-scale real estate, infrastructure or property development .

·          Should have handled multiple projects simultaneously and large construction teams.

·          Strong experience in end-to-end project execution from planning through completion/handover.

·          Strong understanding of project planning, cost, quality, safety, contractor management and execution.

·          Should be comfortable interacting directly with promoters and senior management.

·          Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
