| Summary of Role | The Principal Oracle Fusion Developer is a strategic technical leader and solution architect responsible for designing and governing complex, enterprise-grade architectures across Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. This role plays a key part in setting technical direction for ERP, SCM, Procurement, and Manufacturing modules, while maintaining legacy systems like Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and external platforms. The Principal Developer leads large-scale solution architecture, complex integration strategies using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and low-code application design using Oracle APEX or Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS). This role demands deep expertise in Fusion frameworks, strong architectural acumen, and the ability to mentor and guide cross-functional technical teams. |
| Responsibilities |
• Serve as the technical architect and design authority for Oracle
Fusion Cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise
architecture standards and business strategies.
• Lead and mentor Offshore Integration team, manage thier Proejct Tasks and Workload. Coordinate with onsite counterparts. • Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across Fusion Cloud modules including Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing. • Lead end-to-end integration architecture using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, event-based messaging, and file-based interfaces. • Define and govern architecture and design patterns for Fusion Cloud extensions, APEX/VBCS applications, and maintain existing Oracle EBS and other external platforms. • Translate complex business requirements into well-architected technical designs and provide oversight throughout the development lifecycle. • Define the roadmap for legacy-to-cloud transitions, hybrid ERP coexistence models, and multi-platform interoperability (including NetSuite and others). • Design enterprise data migration frameworks using FBDI, ADFdi and other bulk upload tools with attention to data integrity, auditability, and rollback planning. • Guide reporting and analytics strategies using BI Publisher, OTBI, and Fusion data models to support executive reporting and operational insights. • Have a strong understanding on business flows and systems functional capabilities to provide technical solutions that aligns business requirements. • Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership, communicating technical tradeoffs, risks, and solution options clearly and confidently. • Review and optimize solution performance, code quality, scalability, and security for all Fusion-related development. • Evaluate emerging Oracle Cloud features, recommend adoption strategies, and ensure proactive response to Oracle's quarterly updates. • Lead and mentor development teams across onshore and offshore, establishing standards for coding, testing, documentation, and CI/CD pipelines. • Provide technical oversight during vendor evaluations, POCs, and enterprise-level project planning efforts. |
| Education |
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Certifications in Oracle Cloud technologies (e.g., Oracle Certified Cloud Architect or Developer) are a strong plus. |
| Years of Experience |
• 12+ years of total experience in enterprise application development.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud technical development and architecture. • Proven experience with Oracle EBS technical components is required. • Experience with NetSuite is a plus but not mandatory. |

• Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, SCM, MFG) – deep knowledge of architecture, extensibility framework, and configurations. • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC Gen3) – REST/SOAP APIs, orchestration flows, adapters, exception handling, and logging. • Oracle EBS R12 – technical components (RICEW), workflow, and coexistence with Fusion. • BI Publisher, OTBI – enterprise reporting and custom analytics solutions. • HDL, FBDI, ADFdi – data loading, migration, and transformation. • SQL, PL/SQL – strong querying, tuning, and scripting skills. • DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) – for version control, CI/CD, and automation. • Agile project methodologies (Scrum, SAFe), project tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence). • Familiarity with enterprise security frameworks and role-based access design in Oracle SaaS. |
