Job Description – PMS Dealer with AIF Experience

Designation: Manager / Senior Manager – PMS Dealer (AIF Exposure)

Role Overview

We are looking for a PMS Dealer with strong AIF exposure , who has hands-on experience in PMS execution along with understanding of AIF structures and debt/fixed income markets .

The role requires a professional who can actively support PMS dealing activities, debt market execution, and investment coordination , while also having exposure to AIF products, portfolio strategies, and investor-facing discussions when required .

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of PMS portfolios, AIF structures, fixed income instruments, private credit, structured debt, and alternative investments , along with working relationships across brokers, banks, NBFCs, issuers, and wealth channels .

Key Responsibilities

1. PMS Dealing & Execution

Execute and manage PMS trades across equity and debt instruments as per fund strategy.
Coordinate daily dealing activities including order placement, trade execution, and settlement.
Work closely with Fund Managers to implement portfolio strategies.
Monitor portfolio positions, cash flows, and rebalancing requirements.
Ensure accurate trade documentation and execution reporting.

2. AIF Exposure & Investment Support

Support AIF investment strategies, especially in debt, private credit, and structured opportunities .
Understand and assist in execution of AIF deals including NCDs, structured debt, and alternative instruments .
Coordinate with investment teams for deal evaluation and execution support.
Assist in portfolio monitoring and performance tracking for AIF strategies.

3. Debt Market & Fixed Income Execution

Execute and support transactions in corporate bonds, NCDs, structured debt, and other fixed income instruments .
Track market movements including interest rates, credit spreads, liquidity, and yield trends .
Source liquidity and trade opportunities through banks, brokers, NBFCs, and institutional counterparties .
Assist in primary and secondary market deal execution.
Support credit evaluation inputs and trade feasibility discussions.

4. Investor & Counterparty Coordination (Limited Exposure)

Coordinate with wealth managers, private banks, brokers, and institutional counterparties for trade flow and liquidity.
Support senior team in AIF/PMS product discussions with investors when required .
Assist in preparing basic investment updates and portfolio summaries for stakeholders.
Maintain relationships with market intermediaries for execution efficiency.

5. Compliance & Operations

Ensure all PMS and AIF dealing activities comply with SEBI regulations and internal policies .
Coordinate with compliance, operations, and settlement teams for smooth trade processing.
Maintain accurate MIS, trade logs, and investment documentation.
Support audit and reporting requirements.
