Role Purpose:
The Chief Operating Officer will provide overall strategic and operational
leadership for ELS, a diversified business engaged in FMCG Trading and
Distribution and Hero Two-Wheeler Sales, Distribution and After-Sales
Operations across the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role holder will
be responsible for the overall business performance of ELS, with strong
ownership, market expansion, operational excellence, supply chain
efficiency, customer service and people performance. The COO will
translate the business strategy into clear execution plans and ensure that
all commercial and operational functions work together to achieve
sustainable growth. The position requires a highly commercial, hands-on
and execution-focused leader who can operate effectively in a dynamic
African market.

Educational Qualification:
MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Business Management, with
specialization in Operations or a related field will be an added
advantage.
Experience & Role:

18 to 20 Years of total experience, with minimum 10 to 15 years of
progressive experience in senior leadership roles.

At least 5 to 8 years in a senior P&L, General Management, Business Head
or COO-level role.
- Strong experience in FMCG Trading and Distribution is essential.

Exposure to automotive, two-wheeler, dealer management or mobility
business will be a significant advantage.

Experience in managing large-scale sales, distribution and supply chain
operations.

Proven experience in managing multiple locations, business functions and
large teams.

Experience in Africa, preferably Central, East or West Africa, will be
an advantage.

Demonstrated experience in business expansion, turnaround, restructuring
or scaling operations will be preferred.
