Area Head - Branch Banking

Job Summary:

The Area Head for Branch Banking in Ahmedabad will lead and manage the banking operations across Gujarat, ensuring exemplary service delivery and operational excellence. This role is pivotal in driving growth strategies, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering a high-performance team culture across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of all branch locations within Gujarat, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, targeting growth in customer base and profitability.
Lead, mentor, and develop branch managers and staff, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and teamwork.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for new products and services tailored to the regional market.
Enhance customer satisfaction levels through quality service delivery and effective resolution of issues.
Drive sales initiatives across branches to meet and exceed targets, regularly reporting on performance metrics.
Ensure efficient resource allocation and management to optimize branch operations and deliver exceptional banking experiences.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in banking, with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing branch operations.
Strong knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, and financial products.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends to make informed decisions.
Willingness to travel extensively within Gujarat to oversee branch performance and client engagement.
