Job Description of Production In Charge 
Min. Qualification: - Graduation (Food technology, Chemistry, Medical, B-Tech etc.) 
Experience: - Min 5yrs 
 Achieving daily production target as per plan 
 Ensuring product quality as per the set standards. 
 Developing new and improved methods and systems for food processing, production, 
quality control, packaging. 
 Ensuring compliance of Food Safety Standards and implementation of GMP and GHP. 
 Monitor closely all the shift in charges. 
 Manage the production quality in conjunction with the QA team 
 Effective management of the production team  
 Presenting Monthly reports to Senior Management 
 Constant feedback and communication with the Operations Manager 
 Ensuring IP (Integrated Production) is at all times protected and kept confidential 
 Document all procedures and processes and ensure that they are in line with FSSAI 
 Ensure production staff are competently trained in their required fields 
 Maintain compliance with Health & Safety policies 
 Understand and follow all established safety procedures, and uses required PPE to 
reduce/prevent injury to self and others. 
 Keep current and complies with regulations affecting operations. 
 Effective waste management 
 Assist in weekly sanitation of plant equipment and work area.

 Need to prepare a proper schedule of food production for the order which the company 
got. 
 You need to allocate the manpower accordingly with an efficiency of completing the work 
on time. 
 Prepare a report after the completion of the production work with all necessary 
documents. 
 Should be vigilant in forecasting the risk problems before commencing the work. 
 Should develop new food products welcomed by the market need and promote it in an 
effective way. 
 Need to ensure the quality and hygiene of the product. 
 Must develop, implement and monitor the optimum nutrition contents of the products.

 Generating ANJN forecast V/s Haldirams monthly forecast provided 
 Ensuring preparation of monthly data on time 
 Ensuring preparation of copacker report on timely basis 
 Preventive maintenance of the machine- managing minor major break down of the 
machine 
 Process efficiency, ensuring quality product, waste management 
 Appropriate Trainings and ensuring food safety 
 Pest control Management 
 Housekeeping and 5S of process and packaging 
 Directing and coordinating all plant operations to meet production schedules and 
targets.  
 Ensuring that all products meet established quality standards and implementing quality 
control procedures. 

 Controlling costs and managing resources to achieve budgetary goals.  
 Enforcing safety regulations and environmental guidelines, and ensuring compliance 
with all applicable laws and standards.  
 Hiring, training, and managing plant personnel, including performance reviews and 
employee development.  
 Overseeing maintenance of equipment, facilities, and security, as well as developing 
preventive maintenance programs.  
 Developing and implementing strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall 
plant performance.  
 Collaborating with other departments (e.g., supply chain, quality control, human 
resources) to ensure smooth plant operations.  
 Preparing production and performance reports and analyzing data to identify areas for 
improvement.  
 Maintain and Verify Production Records: Ensure all machine logbooks, production 
records, shift reports, and operational documents are updated accurately and in a timely 
manner. Conduct regular checks to verify the completeness and correctness of recorded 
data. 
 Prevent Data Falsification: Monitor and audit production and machine records to 
identify any instances of data falsification, manipulation, or unauthorized alterations. 
Immediately report discrepancies to the reporting manager and ensure compliance with 
company policies and GMP requirements.
