Job Description – Senior Leadership – API Business

Business: Apitoria Pharma

Location: Corporate Office, Hyderabad

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced professional to drive business growth and market development for the API business, with a specific focus on Paracetamol API. The role will involve developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and strengthening the organization's presence across domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive business development and market expansion initiatives for the API business.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Paracetamol API customers, understand product requirements, and customer requirements.
• Monitor Paracetamol market trends, demand, competition and pricing dynamics and provide relevant inputs for business strategy.
• Develop and execute business development plans aligned with organizational objectives.
• Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Finance teams to support business requirements.
• Provide market intelligence and inputs to senior management for business decisions.
• Support expansion of the API portfolio and development of new business opportunities.

Market Exposure:

Experience in one or more of the following markets will be preferred:

• India
• USA
• Europe
• LATAM
• Emerging Markets

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Prior experience in paracetamol API business in domestic/ international markets will be strongly preferred.
• Experience in Business Development / Market Development / Key Account Management.
• Strong understanding of API markets, customers and commercial dynamics.
• Proven track record in developing business relationships and driving growth.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and senior leadership.
• Strategic and commercial orientation with strong execution capabilities.
