Designation: Quality Officer

Working Location: Bagodara, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Role Summary: The Quality Control Engineer will oversee daily quality checks on precast concrete products, including inspection and testing of raw materials, monitoring of production processes, including but not limited to pre- and post-pour formwork, reinforcement checks against the BBS, and final product verification against technical specifications and standards. The role involves preparing and maintaining test records and inspection reports, identifying non-conformities, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with production teams. The Quality Control Engineer will collaborate with production to ensure compliance with relevant standards, customer-specific requirements, and internal operating procedures. The position also includes customer site visits, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and providing feedback and training to operational staff on best practices in quality and safety.

Nationality | Gender & Age Criteria: Indian | Male & 40 years or younger

Experience: Minimum 2 years of quality experience in the cement, precast, RMC or construction industry

Qualifications: Diploma/B.Tech (Civil)

Key Responsibilities:

Strong foundation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with experience in inspecting materials, processes, and finished precast products.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills and problem-solving ability to interpret test results, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Knowledge of Quality Management principles, standards, and documentation practices, preferably within the precast and concrete industries.
Effective Communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, document findings clearly, and interact with clients, vendors, and supervisors.
Familiarity with relevant testing methods, measuring instruments, and quality tools (e.g., Pour Cards, Checklists, Batch Sheet, Process Non-Conformity and RCA, CAPA).
Ability to work on-site in a production environment, with attention to Quality & Safety regulations and operational discipline.
Understanding and working experience with SCC, and an understanding of its design mix, will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of pre-dispatch inspection of finished goods, including finishing and identification, as per internal SOP.
Experience with industry standards, and prior experience of precast or concrete products is an advantage.
