Strong FRM domain expertise in banking:
Candidate should possess hands-on
Fraud Risk Management (FRM) experience within a Bank
, with working exposure across
secured products, unsecured products, and liabilities portfolios
.
Banking experience is strongly preferred, as candidates from NBFCs may
have limited exposure to liabilities-related fraud risk.

Regulatory and governance knowledge:
Should be well-versed in
RBI / regulatory guidelines relating to fraud reporting, fraud
governance, early warning signals, investigation protocols, and
board-level reporting requirements
.

Strong investigation and report-writing capability:
Must demonstrate
excellent analytical, investigation, and report-writing skills
, with the ability to prepare
structured fraud investigation reports, accountability notes, and
management presentations
.

Systems and application exposure:
Should have practical working knowledge of core banking and lending
platforms such as
CBS, LendPerfect, and other fraud monitoring / workflow applications
, along with the ability to leverage system data during investigations.

Balanced approach to investigations and consequence management:
Must be able to drive investigations with a
fair, objective, and balanced approach
, ensuring appropriate
fact-finding, accountability fixation, and closure of consequence
management processes
in coordination with HR and management.

Strong stakeholder management:
Should be capable of working closely with
Zonal Leaders, Business Heads, HR, Legal, Operations, Compliance, and
MANCO members
, ensuring timely escalation, alignment, and closure of critical fraud
matters.

Process review and policy enhancement mindset:
Must have strong capability to
identify control gaps, process weaknesses, and policy blind spots
, and should be able to
recommend as well as implement corrective changes in existing policies,
SOPs, and governance frameworks
.

Regional market understanding – East:
Should have sound understanding of the
local operating nuances, fraud typologies, customer behavior patterns,
and business practices specific to East markets
, enabling sharper fraud detection and faster response.
